The main part of this ring is made of black glass with silver hinges, clasp, and setting for the amethyst stone. Interior diameter is approximately 7 inches. Has a magnet in the inside of the clasp, so it is really easy to take on and off and the small locking latch on the clasp ensures it is not going anywhere.
